(二)询价信
询价信多由买方发出,不用事先约定,要求供货商提供商品的有关信息。有时可多向几个不同的卖方发出询价信,以便“以货比货”,得到最低的报价。在写询价信时可参考以下几点:
(1)明确表明写信询问的原因。
(2)简短、清楚、具体地说明需要了解的信息。
(3)说明此信仅是征询信息,不要许下订货的诺言。
(4)一定要谦恭、有理,恰当的措辞能给你带来可观的效益。

Dear Sirs,
Re: Shan Di Bicycles
Kindly mail us a copy of your catalogue and latest price list for 6Shan Di’ bicycles. We are verymuch interested in bicycles both for men and women.
There is a heavy demand for bicycles in this city, where cycl:ing has become very popular. Owing to the high price of petrol, it is likely that more people will use bicycles instead& oicg- ‘
If the quality of your bicycles proves satisfactory and your quotation is competitive, we are ready toconclude substantial business with you.

(1) Re(关于):商业信中作“事由”解。现代商业信函中常在标题下划横线或将标题变为黑体。有时也可在标题前写Subject (Subject Matter)“事由”这词,使信件主题一目了然,也便于归档。
